Harvest Notes

From the heart of the Yankowski Vineyard, this singular red is a true expression of co-fermentation and vintage harmony. Crafted with 82% Graciano and 18% Mourvèdre, al picked on the same day and fermented together, Unlimited Devotion celebrates the depth, nuance, and singular character of the 2023 growing season.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, evocative aromatics of violet, wild raspberry, pomegranate, and earth-kissed spice unfold, anchored by subtle traces of herb, forest floor, and cracked pepper—a fragrant nod to the previous vintage while embracing the richer ripeness of 2023. On the palate, layers of cranberry and dark cherry, with hints of anise, dried herbs, and crushed slate. The 2023 season bestowed a generous yet balanced ripeness, lending plush mid-palate weight without sacrificing clarity or drive. The finish is resonant—fresh, fragrant, and long—an inviting balance of power and grace.

Culinary Pairings

Shale Rock is how we recognize the shale rock driven soils where that are abundant in the Yankowski Vineyard where the fruit for Unlimited Devotion comes from. The soils of the vineyard are very shalow and the vines’ root systems reach shale rock fairly quickly—this stresses the vines. While shale rock does not directly impart flavor, it affects vine physiology and grape concentration, leading to smaler berries with thicker skins and complex flavors. This results in deeper, more lush, concentrated wines with an elegant and unique textured mouthfeel. The symbol is also a sublte nod to the Yankowski family’s original business and trade, construction, by abstractly resembling a brick wall.
