This 100% Albariño comes from the beautiful El Pomar District in East Templeton, ideal for growing grapes due to the confluence of cool sea breezes and calcareous soils. After fermentation, this albariño is racked into neutral barrels where it is occasionally battonnaged for 8 months before bottling. Big citrus characters like lemon, lime, and grapefruit combined with spring and white flower notes with a saline twist. At only 13% alcohol, this wine is vibrant and refreshing with solid acidity, pairing well with seafood, creamy citrus salads and goat cheese.
